QSW (Quebec Skilled Worker)
program is one of the major immigration programs that allow workers to enter
the province of Quebec. To assess your eligibility, QSW uses a point-grid
system. Every individual who wants to submit an application will get awarded by
a specific number of points that is based on your education, employment, age,
language proficiency, and more.
Note: Candidates, who meet the minimum
points required, are the only ones who are eligible to submit an application.
In order to apply for Canadian permanent
residency under Quebec immigration, you have to go through these two steps:
1st
step: The applicant/s must apply for a Certificate de selection du Quebec
in the province of Quebec.
2nd
step: The applicant/s can apply Canadian permanent residency from its federal
government.
What you need
In August 2018, Quebec
announced a number of changes in its immigration programs. Its major changes
affected the way a person can apply for QSW, it introduced a similar system to
the federal Express Entry System called EOI system (Expression of Interest).
